The new iriver D35 electronic dictionary is looking a little chunky compared to past editions. Many of the features remain the same, with the software getting a massive upgrade, making the bulkiness of the device even more puzzling. It still manages to retain its simple stylish design iriver has become famous for.
The D35 electronic dictionary sports a 4.3″ TFT LCD color touch screen that supports handwriting recognition which may have been designed to compete with the Mintpad, designed by former iriver employees. The D35 supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista, as well as a variety of codecs including mp3, Xvid, wma, AVI, JPEG, txt, doc, and PDFs. The multitude of dictionaries provides a much needed quick search function and supports Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese.
The dictionary also has new standard DMB TV and the ability to listen to and record radio broadcasts.
