LG Electronics has announced that their futuristic watch phone will be going on sale sometime this year. The watch phone will have 3G and GSM Quadband capabilities, it also can supposedly support incoming video calls. The 1.43″ TFT-LCD touchscreen can be used for making calls, text messages, and of course checking the time. Voice recognition has also been built in and the watch can be paired with a Bluetooth headset, or if you don’t mind your conversation being overheard the watch also comes equipped with a built in speaker. There is even a text to speech (TTS) function that will read your text message and other information out loud.
Overall LG has managed to pack and impressive amount of features into a relatively stylish package. Even those of use too young for Dick Tracy can appreciate this one.

how much does this cost
The price has not been released yet. I could see it costing as much as a regular cell phone or being sold as a high end novelty, it could go either way.
