Korean manufacture Maxian has released its new M1 Edu “Pocket Multi Player”. The most notable addition to Maxian’s newest player is its slick minimalist design. Although there are no earth shattering new features its holds its own against other PMP’s and is a huge step up from the companies previous products.
Their newest PMP features a 3.5″ 1,600 color LCD and a choice between 8GB or 16GB of NAND flash memory. If thats not enough for you the memory can be expanded via the M1’s SD card slot. The player is run off WinCE 5.0 and offers up just about every codec under the sun (MPEG 1-4, WMV, AVI, etc..). Movies, music, and photo viewing are all included, and of course the model would not be called the M1 Edu without offering up an electronic dictionary. Data is transferred using USB 2.0.
So far there have been no details on the price or the exact release date.
