Digital Cube has announced their plans for a “fifth generation PMP”, if your wondering what a fifth gen PMP is your not alone. Apparently is some sort of cross between a PMP and phone, with a screen almost large enough for a UMPC.
Digital Cube’s i-station T5 sports a 4.8″ WVGA 800 x 480 display, which can be used to check out some DMB TV, use the devices electronic dictionary, or surf the net over HSDPA. There is also some sort of 3D user interface built into the PMP. Other features include an FM radion, SDHC slot. Perhaps taking its cues from a certain US based company Digital Cube is offering their i-station T5’s up with a choice of 8GB or 16GB.
No price is available right now, there is a slim chance this PMP could make it overseas, but for now this looks like another Korea only release.
