Cowon P5 PMP Launches In Korea

Cowon’s hot new premium PMP has launched in Korea. The Cowon P5 is an extremely powerful and stylish addition to Cowon’s product lineup.  Powered by an Alchemy 700MHz processor the PMP delivers a wide range of media and functionality. The web browser has become standard fair for Cowon, as well as Bluetooth 2.0, DMB, electronic dictionary, voice recording, USB, and support for a wide range of music and video codecs.

On top of all this the Cowon P5 provides an interesting User Created Interface (UCI). The interface looks like shelves and users can customize which icons they want to appear and where. Another new addition is the Wibro ability which can be tapped into by plugging a WiBro donngle into the USB. The estimated battery life is 9 hours for video and 14 for music. All delivered by the P5’s sharp 16,000 Color TFT LCD. The Cowon P5 has a steel brushed finishing and is available in black, platinum, and red.
