Korean company JC Hyun made a big announcement today, they are graduating from electronic dictionaries to notebook computers. The Udia T100 mini notebook will be powered by an Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor, and 1GB of SDRAM, the set up includes a 80GB HD, 0.3 megapixel webcam, VGA prot, as well as three USB ports. The Udia T100 will be running Microsoft Office 2007. Its currently not know when this notebook will be released but there is already a manufactures price of 649,000W ($496 USD) and will be available in white or ‘wine’.
If JC Hyun and their awkward Udia brand name sounds familir, recall their reccently released Udea Expert 300W electronic dictionary. A notebook is a step up for the company and its suprising to see such an anouncment from a former electronic dictionary manuafcture.
