Inspired by the Mimo monitors making the rounds yesterday technabob went out and found a similar product that is already available and shipping in North America. Samsung’s SPF-85H and SPF-105P Mini PC Monitors are digital picture frames that can double as PC monitors. Samsung’s SPF-85H is an 8″ monitor with 800 x 600 resolution, the SPF-105P has a 10″ 1024 x 600 screen. Both models have memory card slots and 1GB of internal storage. The best feature is Samsung’s UbiSync technology which allows the monitors to be hooked up to any computer via USB, making a nifty mini display for widgets, media players, or any other essential application.
The digital picture frames are a cost effective mini monitor solution. They would look good on any desktop and have beautiful designs imprinted on their front and back. The smallest design touches can drastically increase a products appearance. Samsung’s SPF-85H and SPF-105P has done an excellent job of combining both beauty and functionality.
