LG has named a successor to its popular mobile phone brand ‘Viewty’, the new brand has been named after the famous French artist “Renoir”. The new Renoir phone features a 3″ WQVGA touch screen display and a 8 megapixel auto focus camera. The phone also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, which is a first for LG. Also improved is the mobiles camera, the new set up includes a Schneider-Kreuzanxh lens and a Xenon flash that facilitates quality photography even in the poorest light conditions.The KC910 ‘Renoir’ further extends the functionality of the Viewty line with the addition of GPS, enabiling geo-taging on pictures taken with the phone’s superb camera. There is no need to worry about conectivity the Renoir provides four GSM bands, and 3G with HSDPA coverage, along with Bluetooth and USB for all those pro geo taged photos. The KC910 also includes a microSD card slot, TV-out support, Xvid and DivX video playback and Dolby sound.
The Renoir is expected to be available sometime in October this year and if it manages to provide a decent user experience could be one of the hottest phones of the year!
