LG has unveiled its new N4B1 network attached storage (NAS) device with a built-in Blu-ray drive. The device offers advanced data management features and is suitable for home and small business users who need to manage large amounts of data. The NAS can store up to 4TB of data. Special features include three USB 2.0 ports for adding external storage, one eSATA port, and a web-based graphic user interface / Remote support. The LG NAS allows people without advanced IT skills to install and manage the complicated issues related to data management.
Apart from these features, the device has ability to create a virtual disc library so multiple users can share a single Blu-ray, DVD, or CD. When a disc is inserted into the NAS, a copy of the disc has been created and saved by the device that is accessible by all of the users on the network. The LG’s NAS is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac computers and networks.
