Cowon has had a very exciting PMP line up this year. The latest models to appear on Cowon’s site are the S9, O2, and L3. With the newest models Cowon has shown their in it to win it, with their hot new designs all the company needs is some good global marketing and distribution to make a play for the worlds PMP market.
Cowon O2 PMP
The O2, is an upgrade of Cowon’s A3 PMP. The new model supports for basically any video format you can find. It has a DMB, TV-out, electronic dictionary, and SD expansion. It uses flash memory up to 32GB and supplementing this with a SD card slot that supports SDHC. The O2’s touch screen is a impressive 4.3″, which looks great in the PMP’s compact sleek design.
Cowon L3
The L3 sports a 7″ 800 x 480 touch screen, SiRF III GPS chip, hidden touch controls, DMB, and an FM tuner. The L3’s touch screen comes provides a tactile feedback button system that Cowon is calling ’shadow touch’. So if you have ever wondered what its like to touch a shadow, act now.
