Last year Dell launched its uber thin/light weight XPS M1330 and M1530 laptop computers which moved a large number of units. Now Dell has added an SSD option for two of their XPS notebooks.
A128GB Samsung SSD will run you $450 extra, the average consumer will likely not be interested. For the more adventourous out there Samsung’s SSD will give you speed, durability, and energy efficiency. A 128GB solid state drive for just $450 is very generous deal when you compare it to the upgrade option on the MacBook Air, that Mac Tax will cost you around $1000 for paltry 64GB of storage. To date the upgrade is only available on Dells XPS M1330 and M1530.
