Sky released a new phone featuring a diamond pattern on the front. Little else about the phone is new, it features the same old 2.4″ QVGA screen and a less then optimal 1.3 mega pixel camera. The phone does mobile banking with the BankON service, plays mp3’s, and has an electronic dictionary that comes standard on most Korean cell phones. The IM-S310L has been dubbed the ‘Quilt’ and will be available to Koreans in white, black, and pink for under W400,000 ($411 USD).
Although the phone is nothing special it demonstrates the evolution of Pantech’s design. The companies CEO has already expressed interest into marketing their own line of phones internationally and better designs is a great place for the company to start.
