At this years CTIA in Las Vegas Samsung was showing off its new Second Life client for mobile phones. Samsung’s demo gave new credence to mobile gaming on phones, the Second Life client demonstrates a leap forward for cell phone gaming. Although most people scoff at the theory that PC’s gaming days are drawn to a close, as the line between a PC and other devices is continuously blurred one can increasingly imagine a day where PC gaming as we know it ceases to exist.
The game was being shown on a Samsung BlackJack, and representatives reported the client would hopefully be available to North American consumers through devices available in the second half of 2008.
