DVD Camcorders have been around for awhile, although its a novel idea to be able to pop in a DVD and watch whatever you have recorded without hitting up the computer its not enough of a reason for most consumers to buy one. Lets face it, home videos are boring and rarely get watched at all. Without any editing you are looking at one boring afternoon at grandmas.

Despite the lackluster appeal Samsung sees some signs of life left in the Korean market and has launched the VM-DX10 DVD Camcorder. The VM-DX10 records on a 4GB DVD and offers a wide video recording mode as well as 26X optical zoom. The camera supports both SD and SDHC cards, but only for still photos. The controls are managed through a 2.7″ touchscreen panel.  Samsungs latest DVD Camcorder  is now available, just in time for the family holiday or juniors first steps.
